These are general instructions to upgrade Timberline Estimating and Accounting:

Get all users out of Sage first

Create a backup of your Accounting and Estimating data and 9.5 folder at the server

Install 9.8 Accounting at the server and upgrade data

[Install 14.1 Accounting at the server followed by update 3 and upgrade data

Install 14.1 Accounting onto your workstations followed by update 3

Install 14.1 Estimating on your server (if you want since server install is not required)  and your workstations followed by update 3 and upgrade your Estimating data.

** workstations are installed from //servername/timberline office/accounting/wininst folder
