Screen problems showing up as a solid white screen or a lit up screen with no images are usually caused by one of 3 things:

The most likely issue is a bad inverter which connects the screen to the graphics unit on the motherboard.

The second most likely cause is a malfunctioning screen which will most likely need replacing.

The third possibility is a bend or short in the cables connecting the screen or inverter to the motherboard.
